Chapter 28 - Geneva

GENEVA'S POV

I've never felt this type of pain in my life. The burning and hot sensation of the blood from my neck makes me feel like I'm at death's door. The pain and agony as my skin ripped apart was a pain I couldn't imagine. "A-Agnes," I whispered, out of breath as he continued taking blood from me.

Soon enough, the pain was gone. It was as if it never happened. A numbing sensation was felt across my body as he continued. (I'm sorry, that should help,) he whispered inside my mind as he held me closer.

It felt like hours but he only sucked my blood for a couple of minutes before removing his teeth that were buried down my neck. "W-what did you g-give me?" I asked before he lifted me up to carry me.

"Something to numb the pain," he whispered before carrying me down the tunnel. I held onto him as I closed my eyes, not believing what just happened to me.

My eyes closed by themselves before I heard Thelia screaming in the distance yet I didn't have enough energy to wake up. "What h
