CHAPTER TEN
It was dark. It was empty. My eyes wandered everywhere only to find darkness and nothing else. I felt goosebumps prickle all around my body.
Thud. I jumped as the voice came from my left. With my eyes wide, I stayed rooted to my spot and felt a gust, sending chills to my body but it was not the wind. I noticed the shadow of the figure that ran past me, faster than any human being. Another terrifying sound echoed in my ears and I was about to pee in my short shorts. Growls.
