Chapter 20

The ride felt longer than usual. We rode in silence just with some quiet music playing in the background. We finally pulled up in front of the Battle Fangs pack house.

“Ok Riley we are here” Ashley says opening her door and gesturing for me to follow.

Aurora and I climbed out of the truck. I reached for Aurora’s hand for comfort.

“You got this Riley” she says squeezing my hand. We followed Ashley into the pack house. She was inside instructing pack members to go out and gather my items and where to bring them.

“Okay let me show you where you will be staying for now” Ashley said. We followed in her wake up the stairs.

She pointed out Logan’s office and his room which were next to each other. She continued down the hall and we arrive at a door and she pushes it open.

“So this will be your room for now. Until you feel comfortable with Logan you can stay here. Over there is a closet.” She says gesturing in the direction of one of the doors. “And over there is your bathroom. It’s been fu
