Chapter 22

The ride to my packs hospital felt longer then usual. Logan sat driving with his hand on my leg as road in silence. My nerves are all over the place. There is bad blood between my brother and Logan. But in order for my family to accept him as my mate he needs to come around.

“We’re here” Logan says distracting me from my thoughts.

We get out and head inside hand in hand. We head to reception where I see my father asking the receptionist about Katie.

“Hi dad” I say as we approach. He turns to see me and Logan standing behind him.

“hi Riley, thank you for coming” he pulls me into a hug. “Alpha Logan” he says extending his hand to Logan after releasing me.

“Alpha” Logan says shaking his hand and then reaches for mine.

“Are you ready to go meet your nephew” my father ushers us towards the elevator.

We head up to Labor and Delivery which is on the 3rd floor. The ride up there was quiet. Once we get up there a nurse directs us to Katie’s room.
