Chapter 2

"Logan please leave me alone" i try to wrip my wrist out of his grip as i feel sparks run up the arm he is currently clutching. My fears are right Logan Hall the future alpha of the Battlefang pack is my mate.

"Riley please i know you can feel it. The moon goddess has paired us together and there is not getting away from that" he says just above a whisper.

"Please I cant do this" i say finally prying my wrist from his grip. I run into the school in search of my friends. Aurora Rice is my best friend we have been since we where in diapers. Aurora in the daughter of Sam and Jill rice. Sam is my fathers current betta. Of course Aurora and I are also friends with Tilley Marshall who is Tyler Marshalls daughter. Tyler has yet to find his mate and Tilleys mother is human.

I head to my locker which i find decorated for my birthday Tilley and Aurora are standing by there lockers which where next to mine. "Hey" i said as i approached them.

"Happy Birthday Riley" Aurora sang out and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. Tilley was next she wasnt as stron as me and Aurora but she still gave me a tight hug.

Most of our classes where together and i knew at lunch time i was going to have to tell them. Tell them that Logan Hall is my mate and at the same time avoid him at all causes.

The first 2 periods went off without a hitch but i knew i would see logan in 3rd period atleast we didnt sit next to eachother. I walk into class and there he was all blue eyes and brown hair and he had moved his seat to sit next to me. I avoid making eye contact with him, for years he torchured and bullied me. Now he is my mate and now he will never leave me alone.

"Riley please you are my mate and i know i have been always mean to you. But please forgive me i will give you the world and protect you with my life" Logan says while he reaches for my hand.I pull my hand away from his reach instantly. Not only was Logan in this class but so was his future Betta Alex Cole and his twin sister AshleyThey had surrounded me. 

"Let me talk to he logan" i hear Ashley whisper to him. I always really liked Ashley we have had to do some group projects together. Despite her being from a rival pack I would of considered being her friend but because of Logan I knew i couldnt. 

The rest of 3rd period was quiet and logan didnt bother saying anything else or trying to touch me. When the bell rang i jumped up heading towards my next class before they could even react. I knew i had atleast 2 more classes with Ashley and they where all in my same lunch period but i didnt want to worry about that right now.

Its finally time for lunch and im regretting having to go to the cafeteria. I get in line with Aurora and Tilley neither of them have suspected anything yet and I will enlighten them as soon as we sit.

"Hey Riley" I hear Ashley say from behind me. I turn and she is standing there Alex and Logan. Logan is looking at the ground and i politely wave to her and Alex. I recieve strange looks from my friends, me and Ashley never really talked other then when we are in class doing a project

We finally get our food and sit at our usual table in back corner of the cafeteria. "What was that all about" Tilley finally asked.

"Well i have to tell you guys something" i say staring down at my hands. "I found my mate this morning a..and it Logan Hall" They both looked at me shocked. They knew how logan has treated me all this time and the moon goddess puts us together.

"Well what can I say" Auraro says and reaches over and grasps my hand. "Are you thinking about rejecting him? or Are you going to give him a fair chance?" she asks. Just as Logan, Ashley came and sat at our table. Logan made sure to sit in the seat directly next to me.

"Hi im Logan Hall" he says to my friends. "And this is my twin sister Ashley and my future Betta Alex Cole". Aurora looks at him confused why is he all of a sudden sitting with us.

"We know who you are" Aurora mutters. "My name is Aurora rice my father is Sam Rice the current Betta of the night fall pack" she made sure to add that in. Logan nods and turns to Tilley waiting for her to introduce herself.

"Hi my name is Tilley Marshall my father is Tyler Marshall the future betta of the night fall pack. If you ever hurt my best friend i will end you, do we have an understanding. Logan just nods and stares down at his untouched food.

I need out of here yet again i feel trapped between my best fruends and mate. "I need to go" is all i said before getting up and throwing my untouched food away and walking towards the bathroom, i know im being followed
