Chapter 21

It’s been a little over a week since me and Logan have spoken. I don’t even look in his direction when we pass or eat breakfast together. The mate bond is drawing me to him but I still keep my distance

Today I start to pack my bags to go back home. I can keep my distance from there and be with my friends and family. I turn while zipping my suitcase to see Logan standing in the doorway.

“You’re leaving” he asks? “I know it hasn’t been great here but you’re just going to leave”. He comes in and stands by me. I hold my breath, I want to jump into his arms but I also want to push him away.

“Why stay we don’t talk or spend time with each other. Hell this is the first time you even acknowledged me in over a week. I can go home and you can avoid me while I’m with my family and friends” I say going to walk past him.
