Chapter 5

Suddenly Ryker slammed on his brakes and ripped his car into the closest parking lot. "Get out, get out of my car" he screamed.

Without saying a word i grab my backpack and climb out. He burns out of the parking lot leaving me to walk the rest of the way home. It wouldnt be the first time I walked home, but the way my brother just left me on the side of the road just made the walk that much harder.

Not wanting to go straight home i decide to go to my favorite quiet place. A clearing not far from the pack house where me and my family live. This is where me and my father decided I would shift for the first time. I lay with my backpack under my head and just watch the clouds go by.
