CHAPTER 38: IDENTIFYING THE CAPTOR

Talon’s P.O.V

My phone rang and when I checked who the caller was, it was my dad.

I carefully removed Naya from my arms and left her on the bed. I didn’t want to wake her up, so I left the room.

“Good day, dad,” I said when I picked the call.

“Good day. How’s Naya?”

“She’s fine.”

“Good to know!”

“Yeah.”

“When are y’all coming home?"

“Dad, we wouldn’t be coming home anytime soon.”

“Why?”

“Naya’s injuries are severe. She still needs time to heal. So, we wouldn’t be coming home until two weeks.”

“Alright, son. Make sure to take care of your wife. Don’t let her out of your sight.”

“I’d take good care of her, dad.”

“Alright. Take care. Bye!”

“Bye!”

I returned back to the room to stay back with Naya. But she wasn’t there. I was scared, but the moment I heard the sound of the shower from the bathroom, I felt relieved. I let out a sigh.

I didn’t know what was wrong with me, but I knew there was something. I was feeling something for her, something I had never felt for any other woman.
