Sarah's POV.

The jamming of hands filled the air as my signature was staring back at me. I had just signed the contract and business proposal with Hayden Smith.

Most people thought I could achieve this because Hayden is my husband, but they all have no idea what more I'm capable of doing.

Hayden and I shook hands, and then took countless pictures together afterwards. I smiled, and he did the same.

We both stepped down the podium and took our seats someplace that had been prepared specially for us.

"I did fine?" I asked Hayden who was busy listening to what some of our board members were saying.

"Wonderful." Hayden complimented, making my tensed state relax a bit.

"Clark's launching his drugs today, Hayden. A lot of people are going to die or fall sick if it's fully gets out there."

"For now, it's impossible to stop him or do anything. Focus first on getting your company back on track before dealing with him."
