Chapter 72

Becky's POV

"I'd like a room here please," I said, as soon as I got to the reception area of the hotel. Two ladies were present, and one of them was attending to me.

"Alright, that'll be a thousand dollars.".

I immediately opened my bag and took out my card. "The finest wine you have here as well." I said, dropping my card on the table.

Once she was done, I was handed the key and I immediately stepped away. I had decided to live apart from Clark, and thankfully, this was the first stage of enjoying my freedom.

I swiped the card on the lock, and the door immediately opened. The room was painted yellow, exactly in my favourite colour.

I dropped my bag on the table close to the bed and immediately headed straight for the bathroom after tying a towel round my waist.

30 minutes later, I was out, with a towel around my hair, and my body as well.

I took a seat on the bed, and brought out my phone.
