Chapter forty four

Narrator's POV

He ducked as the gunshots hit. A security guard fell dead close to Luther. Luther picked up his gun and cocked the pistol. He'd handled a gun before.

He managed to aim one of the masked men, just below the knee. A yelp from the man alerted his fellow robbers. Luther crept away and found the elevator. He managed to slip in unnoticed, but before he could close the door, a bullet hit him in the shoulder.

"Ah! ", he screamed. He still managed to get up and shoot back. He was going to find the archeologist, even though he didn't know what he looked like.

As the elevator opened, he was face to face with a young lady. He dragged her into the elevator and pressed random buttons.

"What are you doing?! ", she screamed.

"Saving you. There are robbers out there".

She nodded. "They want a jigsaw puzzle".

"Jigsaw puzzle? "

"Yes... I don't know what they're talking about".

"I'm looking for Mr Harvey. An archeologist. Do you know him? "
