I'm mated

**Emily’s POV**

“Hey, are you okay? You do not look too good, do you care to share?” Ethan asked with the annoying smile still plastered across his face.

“I am fine and thank you,” I replied curtly, with my head slightly bowed in feigned respect.

“Care to step outside for a while? I would like to see you for a few minutes.” He said, gesticulating with one of his arms in a way that showed that he wanted me to follow him.

I nodded stiffly.

However, I did not wish to follow him.

Still, I wanted him to get on with whatever he had to say. So, I followed leaving a tiny distance between us just in case he had other motives.

“I still do not know your name, pretty one.” Ethan turned to look at me for a brief moment as we continued down the hallway.

Even though I was wearing a white turtle neck blouse- which covered my mark- I knew he could smell it.

Smell the change in me. I was certain he already knew I was mated and unavailable.

But he kept on flirting, not giving a care.

“Can you hear me?”
