The hot water washed over me, massaging the joints in my body and the kinks around my neck. I savored the feeling as I stood under the shower. It was blissful and comforting and I did not have to bother about the hot water running out. Ariana's POVI was surprised as I looked at the face of the person who had called out my name. I blinked and blinked my eyes in shock as I beheld the face of Diana. I was too shocked to speak because I was wondering what she was doing here, in the hallway of the Alpha's quarters of all places. Ariana's POVI stood there, rooted to the ground in shock as I stared at the massive form of Alpha Derek on the raised platform in front of where we stood. He was dressed in a black robe with hair slicked back and a sword slung over his shoulder. He looked the picture of a true Alpha as he stared off toward the horizon, his whole body still like that of a stature.
