Chapter 23

The hot water washed over me, massaging the joints in my body and the kinks around my neck. I savored the feeling as I stood under the shower. It was blissful and comforting and I did not have to bother about the hot water running out. I was relaxed as I stayed under it, letting it drench me completely.

As I enjoyed the hot water which I had kept more on the warm side rather than the hot one, I reflected on my time in Blue Moon pack. Never had I ever showered with hot water since my parents died. It was not as if I did not want to; it was that I was not allowed to. I was banned from using hot water to shower in my own pack.

When I had the chance to take my bath back there, it was usually after my day's work when I would have been tired and fatigue,and would have weighed my whole body down. Instead of relaxing under a shower head with hot water blasting out of it to relax my muscles and loosen the tension out of them, I was left with cold water. It was not as if hot water was not avail
