Chapter 37: Back To Where It All Start

Night fell and they gathered around the fireplace.

“Oh, it seems I have an old friend that is also here,” said Beatrice, closing her cellphone.

“Oh, who is it?” asked Jordan.

“He’s a famous jewelry designer.”

“What’s his name?” asked Jack.

“Brent Lockwood.”

“Oh,” said Emily. “That man is so famous for all the jewelry he designs. “I heard that he lost his wife and a kids in a terrible car accident.”

“Yes. He did,” said Beatrice.

“Is he also here for a breather?”

“It seems so.” Beatrice was looking up into the night sky.

“Should we go over and said hi to him?” asked James.

“What?” asked Beatrice, looking at James.

“What? It doesn’t hurt to say hi to an old friend.”

The six of them packed themselves in their seven seater car and went to the other cabin.
