SARAH

I had my mouth shaped like an O, the minute I saw that he had the room filled with balloons and several bouquets, with a note attached to each bunch.

I hiked my purse up to my shoulders and adjusted my night bag in my right hand.

It suddenly felt like it was colder outside than it was in the car, I could feel the bumps from my skin reacting to the cold popping out.

Time passed by as I stood there staring at the surprise he had pulled up in the motel room.

“Ryan,” I voiced out as I hugged him.

“Isn’t it meant to be your birthday?” I asked as I wrapped my arms around his waist, staring into his eyes.

He placed a kiss on my forehead and then smiled afterward as he took a few strands of my hair and pulled it to the back of my ear.

“Yes, it is but then, it’s also meant to be a special day for the both of us,” He said.

“This right here shows how much love I have for you and wouldn’t let such an amazing opportunity sly,” He responded with a smile creased on his face as he tightened his
