I stared into my reflection in the mirror, and I wasn't sure what I could do to myself to be any more ready than I was for the night.

Robyn had texted a couple of days ago about his request for us to have a special date night as he called it.

I sighed, holding on to my hairbrush as I glanced at the little clock on my dressing table, wondering how long all of what was going to happen tonight would take.

After my little romance party, with Ryan in my apartment some nights ago, the rest of the week went by uneventfully. Until I had gotten a text from Robyn days back asking that we meet up, which prompted me to finally step out of my comfort zone.

I soon thought about how hard it’s been holding back whatever I was starting to feel for the young man Ryan. I held it together for most of the mornings I had been in the classroom as their substitute teacher.
