Axel PoV“I didn’t think you would come,” I said gently as Klaus entered through the front door.Before Klaus came, I’d freshened up. A hot bath had a way of making me seem friendly, and for my plan to work, Klaus needed to see me as his friend. What’s betrayal without gaining the trust of your mark? Klaus PoVI’ve seen Axel transform more than a thousand times, yet, each transformation always manages to scare and fascinate me. He hunched down on all fours, but his knee didn’t touch the ground. The transformation started from his legs, which were firmly planted into the ground. Sprouts of hair grew on his legs, congealing together to form a brown-blackish fur. And rapidly spread to every part of his body.His bones cracked. Toes and fingers extended into claws. The cracking of his spine was clearly heard all through the pack, as he morphed into a fierce, heinous wolf. His nose grew, eyes grew apart, and mouth morphed into huge, scary fangs.
