Chapter 24

Caren’s Pov

I have been staring at that stupid tracking app for hours. It was getting beyond a joke. I am literally tapping out a text to Maddox when Parker comes bursting through the door. “Lottie needs you. NOW” he practically screams at me while grabbing my wrist and dragging me out of the house towards his SUV.

If Lottie needs me, he doesn’t need to drag me. I would go at any pace. Deana asks who Lottie is. I gave her a brief summary of who my twin sister is. Deana doesn’t quite understand the dynamics of our sisterhood and I am not in the right mindset to explain it to her. I told her I would explain it all to her later, but right now, what she needs to do right now is to trust me.

What I also know right now is that if Lottie needs me this desperately, there is a situation only my witch powers can deal with. But I haven’t used them since Deana arrived and I don’t know how strong they are. I pray to Hecate that I still have enough witch left in me to handle whateve
