2-Chance at New Life

Sabrina’s POV

He kisses me down my belly and I lay back on our counter. He removes my shorts and underwear in a single movement. His tongue explores me as run my fingers through his hair. He sucks and bites until I feel it. Oh, I’m going to have one, I relax to enjoy it. Just as it begins, I let a little noise out of my throat.

Sedit stops and pulls me off the counter. Of course, I will be left again with no release. He spins me around and takes me from behind again, only pleasuring himself. I hold on to the cold counter as he pushes harder and faster. It will be over soon. As least he is in a good mood. I’ll take this over the beatings any day.

At the celebration, I can’t believe it! It’s actually a party. Sedit is smiling and laughing. He is kissing me and holding me.

“This is my wife,” Sedit introduces me to a tall blonde man. “Sabrina, this is my dad’s new business partner, Yoel.”

“Nice to meet you,” I nod, knowing better than to take the hand extended to me.

Yoel seems, to understand and looks at Sedit.

“Very beautiful and respectful. Well done, young man,” Yoel tells him.

“Sabrina, come sit with the ladies,” Melanie, Sedit’s mother, calls to me.

I look to Sedit, who is holding me tightly.

“I think I will stay with Sedit,” I tell her.

She shrugs but Sedit looks pleased and pulls me to the side.

“Very good,” Sedit whispers, before kissing below my ear. I smile at him. “I want you. Here and now. Behind this wall.”

Sedit pulls me behind the wall and starts kissing me. He undoes his jeans and rips my panties. I try to will myself to get wet, but I can’t in time. I try not to make a sound as his pounds me against the wall. I see Yoel peek around. He and I make eye contact. I see anger in his face, but I look away ashamed. This can’t look good.

Six weeks later

“Solen, this can't be real!” I squeal into the phone as soon as Sedit has left for the night. “I can barely walk after today. I think he broke my ankle.”

“Let me come get you, sis! I can be there in three hours. I’ll say I’m visiting but we can sneak out,” Solen offers. “I’ll get some friends to help. Let's have a prison break tonight!”

I can’t believe I’m pregnant and being beaten.

When did I become this woman? I used to pity women like me. I can't be this person, not anymore!

“Come get me!” I demand, finding the old me still in my heart holding on.

“On my way!” Solen tells me.

I pack up as much as I can get into two bags. I wait in the kitchen.

I jump when my phone rings.

“There is no one by the gate and it’s open,” Solen says. “I see your house.”

“I’ll open the garage, back in,” I tell him.

Solen does.

“Baby sister!” Solen takes in my face and arms. I’m wearing a tank top and no make-up. “I should have come for you sooner.”

He is afraid to touch me. His friends look murderous.

“We can trash the place in less than a minute,” the largest one says.

The other takes my bags and puts them in the truck.

“Here, get in here, we will cover you,” the one who put my bags in smiles helping me into the hatchback. “I’m Jorge, by the way. That guy is Bill. He is the boss tonight.”

Jorge winks at me, before covering me with a blanket.

I hear glass breaking and things falling over.

“Set the damn place on fire so he never knows she packed anything,” I hear Bill order.

The SUV starts and we drive away slowly.

“It’s burning,” I hear Jorge say.

“That is what that asshole gets. Yoel told us about the conditions here. I almost didn’t believe him. Solen, we will make sure you and your sister are safe,” Bill promises. “You can sit up, Sabrina.”

I sit up and see smoke in the distance.

“Thank you for getting me out of there,” I tell them.

“It’s an honor to save such a pretty girl,” Jorge tells me. I blush and move to the third row, where I notice a woman for the first time.

“Sorry,” I say surprised.

“It’s okay. I'm here if you need me, but you seem a lot stronger than Solen described,” She smiles. “I’m Crystal.”

“Sabrina,” we shake hands. I laugh and see her raise her eyebrows. “I haven’t shaken a hand in a long time.”

“How far along are you?” Crystal asks after taking in a deep breath.

“I don’t know, a few weeks,” I answer. “I need a doctor. I’ll need to get a job and everything.”

“I think I got you a job, sis,” Solen tells me as he drives. “I just go promoted to Assistant HR Manager. We need new cleaning staff. Interested?”

“Sounds great, you know I can clean,” I smile at him with happiness.

“Solen, drop us off at the community gate, then take Sabrina home with you. Let her take four days to rest and recover, then get her started,” Bill tells Solen who nods.

“So how do you all know Yoel?” I ask, remembering him as the guy from the party.

“He is a business associate of our bosses,” Crystal tells me with a smile. “He is no longer doing business with Zenith. He is telling them tomorrow. If Solen hadn’t convinced you to come with us, we planned to kidnap you.”

I look at Crystal with wide eyes and a slack jaw.

“Yoel said you were being abused,” Jorge tells me.

“How do you think I found out? I’m not that smart,” Solen tells me.

I sit back, stunned by all this. A stranger I met once, 6 weeks ago, told people to save me. I owe him a lot. I guess I’m safe now.
