What is love?
“Why are you here?” Mark asked Lily in a hoarse voice.
“I was invited by Mrs. Scott and then Miss Katie came to pick me up at my home,” replied Lily. “Where were you? You could have replied me at least,” Lily complained.
Mark did not say anything and walked away. Lily followed him up. “Don’t follow me. I am not in a mood to talk with anyone,” Mark said as he was climbing the stairs.
“When did I say I was following you? I am going to Miss Katie’s room to grab my phone,” Lily asserted. Mark did not speak further. “You did not answer where were you? Your family was worried about you,” Lily again asked him as she kept walking beside him.
“Do you think they are worried? A party is going on and…leave it,” Mark replied as he fastened his pace.
“So, do you love her?” Lily asked him.
