Alice sighed as she absentmindedly played with her food on the plate.

"I'm considering taking a break until the delivery. What do you think?" After pondering for a while, she looked at Siya.

Siya let out a worried sigh and nodded.

"I think that's the right decision, but can you handle it?" Siya had concerns about Alice's mental state.

Since Alice had discovered her pregnancy, she had been under a great deal of stress. Staying home all day might exacerbate her anxiety.

"I'll work as a freelancer," Alice explained.

Siya agreed with Alice's plan, understanding that it was a reasonable choice. Finding new work in her current state would be nearly impossible, and freelancing would provide her with more flexibility during this challenging time.
