Alice was afraid that if she moved too much, he might discover her growing belly. So, she ceased her struggles and allowed him to kiss her.

As she stopped resisting, Lucas pulled her closer, but Alice maintained some distance between them. She was determined not to let her body touch his, as that would reveal her rounding belly.

Lucas grew increasingly frustrated by her reluctance. He vented his anger by biting, sucking, and licking her lips.

Alice could feel the intensity of his emotions, and before he lost control completely, she decided to kiss him back.

Lucas was satisfied with her response, and his anger gradually subsided. He had missed her touch, her kisses, and the feeling of her body against his. Since their divorce, he had been restless, but now, he felt a sense of calm, if only for the moment.
