Betty screeched and ran over to Adrian's side. She couldn't hide how she felt about him, and everyone at the party gossiped loudly about her.

"Lindsey," my father came to my side. He glanced at Kai, I saw him, but he didn't even acknowledge the man. "I'm not sure what happened between those two brothers, but I can not allow them to be in the same place again. Not until I know they're not going to devolve into that riff raff.
