I waited until Owen was gone before I closed the door again and locked it. A moment later, I scratched my burning groin again, and my eyes locked on the small bottle. "You're telling me that will stop this?"

Kai grinned at me. He tossed the vial into the air, and we both watched it spin a few times in freefall before he plucked it out of the air. "Clear it all up with three applications. And I'll give it to you for just one favor."

My nostrils flared. "I'm not letting you take advantage of me, Kai." I spat the name.

"You stay inside for one day. See, I've had a thing for your Lindsey, and I want to take her out on a friendly little date. You'll need to stay home anyway to recover from this nasty little affliction. Just stay in here until midnight. I won't touch her until that time, but if I win her over in that time, then you'll just have a rival for her affection. Deal?"

I snorted. "I don't even know if you're telling the truth."

Did he really think I would just say yes?
