I've had enough. It was time to claim what was mine, so I took Lindsey and flew away. I would take her back to my realm and then let her decide who she needs to choose.

I spread my wings and took to the air, the wind rushing past my scales as I soared into the sky. Lindsey clung tightly to my back, her arms wrapped around my neck as she gasped in awe at the incredible view.

She was either amazed or scared.

Below, the world stretches out in all directions, forests and mountains and rivers and cities all blending together into a patchwork of colors and shapes.

I flew higher and higher, the air growing colder as I left the warmth of the sun behind. But my powerful wings kept me above, and before long, I broke through the clouds and into the clear, starry night sky.

Lindsey hadn't said anything or screamed. She must be waiting to see where I take her.
