CHAPTER 77

DAX’S POV

I was thriving. I felt like the happiest man on earth and if it were possible to fly due to how much happiness one felt, I would be floating over the clouds already.

I looked down at Ruby after we got out of the car and the driver took off, leaving the two of us alone in the night, under the starry sky with the overwhelming want that swam through our veins.

Without a word, I took her hand and clutched onto it tight before I pulled her along with me toward the double doors and she didn't say anything either as I opened the door and walked us past the entrance, into the house.

Once we were inside, I stopped and turned to face her and I saw her swallow as she looked up at me with intoxicating doe eyes that told me how much she wanted me.

“There's no one around, right? I don't want anyone walking in on us” she asked with wide eyes as she looked around just to be sure and that made me chuckle before I grabbed her arm and turned her to face me.
