MARINA

I walked in on chaos again.

Oh, god, not this again, I thought as I looked at the patrol cars and news vans upfront.

I should just keep walking, I thought to myself and did just that. Maybe this wasn't anything new. They were here for Eddie again. I should just ignore everyone and keep walking to my class. We had an exam coming up soon, so I knew today's class was important.

I stepped around a couple that was making out at the building entrance then walked straight to my class.

"The class is canceled," someone behind me spoke as I pulled the door handle. I looked at the girl questioningly. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. I searched my memory to see if I could remember her name, but nothing came up.

"Professor canceled the class because of Mike," she repeated.

Mike? What's that supposed to mean? "What do you mean?" I asked.

"Mike was found dead near here this morning," she said.
