MARINA
"What the hell, Logan!" I exclaimed as I realized who was holding me hostage.
"Sorry, Marina. I thought you were mad at me, so I wanted to catch you before you went home," he said in a manner of apology.
"So, you decided to grab me and scare the crap out of me? What the fuck is wrong with you?" I said irritably. I kind of felt bad about yelling at him as he looked uncomfortable, but at the same time, he shouldn't scare me like this.
"I'm really sorry. I wasn't thinking," he said.
"What do you want, Logan?" I asked.
"Well, I wanted to check on you and see if you were okay," Logan said.
I squinted my eyes. Since when did he care about my well-being? "Why wouldn't I be, okay?"
"I mean...you and Mike looked pretty cozy at the party. At least in the beginning anyway," he said.
"I have nothing to do with what happened to him!" I shrilled.
"Shhhhh!" a woman with grey hair wearing a black blouse was glaring at me.
