Liya’s POV

Over the next few days, the triplets were very reluctant to leave me. They’d come up with one excuse or the other each time I wanted them to leave.

Some of them made sense, while other were just so ridiculously bizarre, they’d leave me speechless. One time, I wanted to soak in a bath, but they said they’d stay with me, in case I drowned.

“There’s no way in hell I’m letting you stay with me while I soak in a bath.” I had told them, with a slight scowl on my face.

“Good thing we are not in hell then.” Hunter had retorted. I looked between them, wondering what they were up to.

If I was to soak in a bath, I’d be fucking naked. I was not ready for that kind of sexual tension. It’s bad enough as it is – when we work together in their study. Alone.

The days were somewhat peaceful, but we all knew that there was danger lurking. Those few days were just the calm before the storm.
