Jafar's grin was a chilling sight, a cruel reflection of the devastation he'd unleashed.

The cages groaned open, spilling forth a tide of snarling, monstrous figures. My heart hammered a frantic rhythm against my ribs, fear a cold weight in my gut.

The monsters were too much. I paled as I recalled the ones outside, currently killing more people. If these ones were to get out, it would be a disaster. It all had to end, here and now.

We formed a tight circle, backs pressed together, silver weapons gleaming in our hands.

I was in between Gunter and Ryder, who was beside Hunter. “We need to kill him first.” I muttered under my breath.

Jafar watched us, his amusement evident. "Pathetic," he drawled, his voice dripping with venom. "Preparing to fight against your own kind. This is what happens when you mess with a vampire's vengeance."
