Jafar’s POV

“We met under the full moon. She had just transformed, and I was hunting for dinner.” I started, my heart constricting with the grief that had aged in a matter of a few months, more than I have in the thousands of years I had lived.

The irony of it all still stings. Hunger had led me to her clearing, an unexpected encounter that would rewrite my entire existence. But fate, it seems, has a cruel sense of humor.
