Chapter 18: Uncomfortable Living

Ivy.

"Aunt Rosie, I'm confused." I blinked twice. "How can you be here?"

This is impossible. I may have not entered aunt Rosie's room when I got home but I'm pretty sure she was there when I left. How can she be standing in front of me right now?

"I know you're confused but let me explain everything," she told me. She sat and took a deep breath. "Ivy, I want you to bear with me. I want you to understand every word that I'm about to say."

"Is everything okay, auntie?" I worriedly asked her.

"No. Everything is not okay, my niece," she answered. I'll start by asking you if you remember my sister, your another aunt."

"Yes. Sabrina, aunt Sabrina. What about her?"

"It's very hard to tell but the truth is she's the one living my life, Ivy. She's the one you're seeing inside the house that I own," she told me and I was so puzzled.
