Weighing Both Options

Ember's POV

When we were heading back from the hospital, Trent and I were in utter silence. I stared at him occasionally to gauge his reaction but from what I saw I noticed that he was very furious and I didn't bother to say anything. His anger had to be assuaged when he wanted it to.

"Aren't you even in the least apologetic about the way you made me worry when there was actually nothing wrong with you?" He inquired and I stared at him softly. He was not going to let me live this down.

When we arrived at the hospital the doctor confirmed that I was okay and just needed to take my medications causing him to be very wroth with me.

I felt as though I got away with a lot of things because he kept considering that I was just a female who didn't know anything and I was happy about that. He didn't need to change it.

"I'm sorry about that."

"No, you're not sorry, you know what you did, so your apology is quite useless to me. Instead of me accepting your apology, I'd rather send her packing."
