Rhys’ Pov

‘I’m sure it breaks you to find out your dear betrothed has been alive all this while’ Black said mockingly as I stood looking at the rogue.

“You still won’t speak?” I asked him angrily.

“I would rather die!!” He yelled back and I cringed.

I walked inside the cell room again and held him by his tattered shirt.

“You know you shall die in my territory. I have every right to kill you, there’s no point in hiding it from me.” I grounded, annoyed and irritated at his misplaced loyalty.

Obviously if Talia could fake her own death and make everybody believe her sister had killed her, who knew what she was capable of.

“You can go ahead and try. You won’t get anything from me.” The rogue said and before I could understand the scene unfolding in front of me, he had hit his head on the cell wall and was now unconscious.
