Leila seethed as she gulped down the last drop of tequila in the glass. She had raided her father's wine rack and got hold of the half drunk tequila. She had snorted.at the thought of becoming as pathetic and low as her father.

Thinking of it on the other hand, if she wasn't being stupid like her father, considering everything Declan's mother, Elizabeth had put her entire family through. The last thing she is supposed to think of is spending the rest of her life with the witch's son. But then, Leila could admit to being jinxed since she can't start to imagine her life without Declan.

Also, she likes to think the beef with Elizabeth is between her parents and the former. Not the children, so, the parents might cut at each other's throat, but the children will keep growing in love.
