Kira's POV

“Don't you think it's time you get off your high horse and speak to him?” Amber whined for the umpteenth time into my ear.

The downside to having a younger sister is having a walking reminder. Especially when she knows I am clearly trying to avoid the situation. Even though I must admit, it's fun having more of a close relationship with my family. In my past life, I was too dependent on Leila, which made it easy for me to sway from them. Since I had an open discussion with mum, I feel more relaxed discussing on everything bothering me.

Amber's loud snort brought me back to the present, “I am sure you haven't gone deaf, Kira.” She stomped her bare foot on the hard floor.

I rolled my eyes, “your continuous nagging will obviously make me deaf. What is it with you, Amber? Why won't you let me be?”
