Leila chewed hard on her nail, for two straight days she has been thinking about what she could do to make Kira fall back in line. And all the options that came to her head seemed hard, but the only way out. Frustrated, she slumped into her bed, groaning loudly. She heard a knock from behind the door, Leila rolled her eyes. It can't be anybody else but her father, since they are the only two living souls in the house.

Mumbling incoherent words to herself, she walked to the door. Jesse stood there looking haggard, his eyes sunken. Leila could notice the extra gray hairs that have added up. There was no way he could be referred back to the man she knows a year ago.

“What do you want?” She mused rudely.

Jesse snickered weakly, her snarky attitude did not surprise him. The both of them haven't been on good terms since Ariana left. Even though he blames himself for most of all that happened. Leila no doubt isn't exactly a respectable child, she is too self-centered and care
