Leila looked on in disgust at how happy Elizabeth and Declan were at the news of the Alpha's death. The two of them rejoicing over her almost fall. Her heart feels heavy with worry. Her altercation with Amber over the poisoning of the Luna, made her more suspicious of the fact that Kira might be aware of their plan.

Kira's attitude when she and Declan had gone to sympathize with her over the Alpha's death, added to her suspicion. Even though she and Declan had arrived differently, the odd look on Kira's face didn't sway until they were forced to leave.

Which means total failure for her and the rest of the team, finding out about the betrayal. Kira won't hesitate to report to the pack council, and they all get caught and killed in the end. She pulled at the necklace on her neck.
