Mira took a calculated step towards the bar, she was going to relay her thoughts and discomfort to Xander without hesitation. She couldn't keep up with his sour attitude towards her every time. She felt there was a need to command respect from him. The last time she had visited, and he accused her of causing a rift between himself and the other lady. She chided herself for backing out so easily.

Clenching her fist around the handle of her bag, she ignored Miguel, who was acting polite towards her. She has always disregarded him, treating Miguel like he was irrelevant. He snorted at her receding back, it was no use trying to make friends with someone as shallow - minded as her.

Xander jerked from his chair at the force of the door opening, he was almost excited about whom it might be. However, his face fell when it turned out to be Mira. Xander had thought she would be shameful enough to not show her face to him again.
