Back to Roshord

BACK TO ROSHORD

“First of all, Ruby’s death is not an accident. After much research, we came to know there’s a bomb fixed on the work in progress house on purpose. First, everyone thought there’s a leakage in the gas which is obviously not possible. It’s just an excuse that made my Roshord school to stop their school from sealing it. This made it clear, Roshord high is a careless school. We still don’t know who did this on purpose to hurt the students from Roshord high school.” the report stopped and the image shifted to the burning house on the day when the lacrosse match happened.

Caleb looked down from seeing it again. Care kept her hand on his shoulder to make him relax. Her touch gave him a relaxation that their sisters were here for him.

“Now about Becca’s disappearance.” the reporter started. The tension in the hall increased hearing Becca’s name.

“It’s confirmed that she’s been murdered. There’s enough evidence of her blood in the school. There’s something happening at Roshord high and like I said, the protection is not well-enough. So, every student in the school will be investigated. We are not blaming students but we are doing this to stop the further problem from...” the reporter’s face vanished, the television went black and there’s a large crack in the middle of it. Caroline blinked at it in confusion. She looked down to find the tv remote was down on the floor. Everyone’s eyes turned towards Charlotte, who’s the one who broke the TV. Again.

“Why are you looking at me? Now there will be no more updates of Becca’s murder. See, it’s completely broken. No one should repair it ever again. It’s not my fault. It's supposed to happen.” She pointed at it like she got nothing’ to do with it.

“Calm down, Charlotte. Breaking it is not going to solve anything.” Caroline raised her eyebrows.

“Should have broken it earlier. I would have not seen Ruby’s death accident again,” Caleb told, still looking down.

“Do I have to tell it twice? Breaking it is no use,” Caroline made herself clear.

“So, what can we do? Watch it like everything’s fine?” Charlotte asked.

“We should play it cool. They are only going to check on students. So, they can’t find your handprint. Just act your level best and finish the day off.” Care explained, looking at Chloe and Caleb, who are still studying in Roshord. Both nodded their head.

“Hereafter, please promise there will be no lies within us,” Chloe pathetically asked them.

“There will be no lies,” Caroline showed her hands to make a promise. Without hesitation, Chloe put her hands on Care’s hand. Charlotte and Caleb looked at each other before promising.

“Fine. Now there will be no more lies. We are going to take down the secret threatener as a group.”

“Yes, As I already killed a girl, so I won’t be afraid of killing this threatener once he or she caught in our hands,” Charlotte sounded confident and cruel.

After 3 days:

“Are you leaving me here halfway to the school? I won’t walk by myself, Caleb,” Charlotte shouted in the middle of the road while Caleb forgot to bring a book in tension.

“I need to take it. I can’t go without it. Today there’s a test after investigation,” Caleb explained, popping his head through the Car’s window. Chloe and Caroline are already in school right now. Charlotte is the one who’s going to be late.

“If Iam a teacher, that doesn’t mean I can go later.” She yelled again, but he turned his car like there’s no one talking with him.

“Sorry, Charlotte. You really need to walk. Don’t be lazy.” He simply told and drove off.

“Such a good brother.” She told herself, walking her way to school. In fact, it’s not that long. But she practised protecting her hair from dust. Within ten minutes, Roshord high is visible to her site. There’s only one road to cross to reach the school. She took the turn and stopped in a track by seeing a person she never imagined right now.

“Jason,” she muttered, seeing him right in front of her eyes. He’s dressed formally for school but still looked hot for Charlotte.

“Hey. Iam back,” He smiled, but Charlotte makes the move of hugging him in the road didn’t care about any other people.

“Is everything okay?” he hugged back in confusion but happy to feel her right in his arms.

“Iam sorry. I didn’t mention my return to Roshord,” he said, thinking she will be angry about that.

“Well, Iam not angry at all,” she lied, still hugging him.

“Are you going to stay in his position forever,” he whispered in her ear.

“Maybe or maybe not,” She unsurely answered, looking up at him.

“Can I have an explanation of why you left without telling anything?”

“Like I said, I went to meet my family. My mom is sick, so I got really worried.”

“Is she okay now?”

“Indeed, yes, but I thought of staying there for a while but due to Becca’s disappearance or murder, I need to come back to Roshord.” he casually replied.

“You got nothing to do with Becca. Why do they call you?” Charlotte seriously asked, letting go of his arms?

“Becuse I was there at the homecoming. Till this case is solved, everyone needs to be in Roshord.” Charlotte got sick of hearing this about Becca’s issue. But seeing Jason relaxed her a lot.

“Okay. Iam glad you are here right now.” He threw her arms around his arms again.

“Iam glad too. But are we going to stay like this in front of many people? What if anyone in school saw us like this?” He questioned, smiling a little.

“I don’t care. Do you?” she raised her eyebrows.

“Um... I don’t” he brushed her hair off her face and pulled her for a kiss. She kissed him back, letting all the bad moments erased with ease. She felt more relieved than before. She doesn’t feel so good like this by kissing any other boys in her life. Jason’s still not her boyfriend. Having him as her boyfriend while working in Roshord is kinda difficult, but she has never been attracted to anyone before. She didn’t know what he’s feeling for her but she’s sure that she’s having more feelings for him even though they spent less time together.

“I want to stay like this so badly.” She broke the kiss and smiled at him.

“Then you should come to my home tonight,” he whispered in her ear making his way to give kisses on her neck. For a second, she was distracted by the thought of getting caught due to this investigation. Soon they took the thought away by thinking they won’t investigate teachers.

“I will.”
