The full moon glistened across the earth, pitch pine trees were queuing through the woods. Tall, woody, and verdant. The moon rays poured into the clearing through the slight little piercing in the woods. They could hear sirens blaring from a distance and cars honking, they knew that they weren't far from the streets.

“Thank you for saving my life.” Aiden told him.

“Don't flatter yourself. You brother made me feel like I was useless. Nevertheless, I won't blame him because he's as weak and broken as an average vampire.” Hadrian jested with so much detestation.

“Elijah? I'm truly sorry for everything that transpired between both of you.”

“I hate to admit it, but I loathe vampires including you. I don't want to hurt my sister's feelings and I can't push someone who is striving to have a life. That would be very uncivilized of me.” Hadrian forced a smirk as he placed his hands into his jeans pocket. Aiden suspected incandescence and fondness in his eyes.
