CHAPTER 33: INTO YOUR ARMS

“Tell me. What was your life like when you became a vampire?” Lynette inquired as the afternoon breeze chilled her skin while Aiden cuddled her.

“We woke up at the stallion lake and we didn't remember who we were, but we knew our names. It's crazy, right? Forget about your whole past and still remember that you have brothers. Memories of our human life were gone and Elijah discovered that we were vampires that day and we struggled to live and we survived.” Aiden recalled as a lone tear escaped his eyes while Lynette smiled as she wiped it off. They pulled closer to each other and kissed.

“It must be hard adjusting to the new situation back then.” Lynette shared his pain.

“Yes. We couldn't put our emotions under control. Everything we felt was worsened.” Aiden ended with a smile.
