Chapter 124. The final battle

Gwen's POV

I shifted into a silver werewolf and attacked the first vampire who tried to come close to me. For every attempt of an enemy toward me, I snapped his neck with one of my claws until blood flowed freely down his throat.

There was no way I would go after them without getting at least a couple of hits. I could not count how many foes I had killed today, but each one left me satisfied in ways that nothing else could.

I glanced to the right side and saw my parents, Vera with Valir, fighting off five vampires at once, using their claws to slash their throats open as quickly as if they were swatting mosquitoes away.

On the other side, I saw the Packs, Israel, and the other witches fighting off another group of enemies.

The fairies were helping out with the battle on their end as well. The shield they were casting toward us was impenetrable against any magical attack. And it was also holding back all of the attacks and then throwing them back to the enemies.
