Chapter 52

I stared blankly at the open space in front of me as different thoughts raced through my mind as I absentmindedly played with a lint on my sweatshirt.

The side of my closet that was filled with black and white was cleared and now replaced with colorful clothings of different varieties and when I asked why, all I got in response was “Alpha's orders.”

So far, my plan at getting back to my old life seemed futile because Jason suddenly doesn't come around anymore.

I hadn't seen him since that day at the funeral and for the first time since then, I regretted letting my emotions get the best of me.
