MOSES'S POV

I hurried to my chamber the next morning, hoping that Matilda would not be mad at me for staying out all night. I was also hoping she would still be asleep by that time since it was still quite early.

I was unable to go back to the room that night because I had a bit of a situation that made me stay out late.

During that evening's pack meeting, I learned that a rogue had attacked and killed three of my pack members.

Angry that a rogue would dare attack a member of my pack, I personally went after the rogue because I wanted to make sure I caught him alive.

He deserved a worse punishment than death for daring me.

The rogue was quite a tough one, so it took all night for me to be able to capture him.

After I had handed him over to the warriors and given them instructions on what to do with him, I hurried back to the room to go with my mate.
