Alexander's POV

I had always been vigilant since the first attempt on Laura. It was part of the reasons why I placed everyone on taking turns to watch the house.. The people had been as sharp as a razor, and she had a keen eye for anything suspicious. So, when she came to me and raised the alarm that she saw someone, I didn't doubt for a second that she had picked up something. That's why I headed towards the east wing with some pack members to check for any movements before heading for the woods to see if everything was alright.
