chapter thirty two

Mia's pov

I took my clothes off, folding them neatly and put them on the floor, well, not before sniffing Trevor's shirt. I slowly got into the tub, one leg at a time and sat down.

I heaved as the water came to chest, feeling a bit of panic take root. I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I just sat there for a while.

I think I sat there for about five minutes before I got bored and started running my hands over my body. I took a deep breath and went under, running my hands through my hair, making sure the herbal water touched every inch of my body.

I breathed heavily once I surfaced and used my hands to wipe the water off of my face. It took a few deep breaths to finally calm my racing heart and when I did, the ache was the only thing I was feeling.
