“Honey wake up,” Rook spoke softly trying not to startle Crystal. She had been exhausted after using her power against the Dark Magic and once they had returned to the pack house had wanted a nap but the nap had continued well into the next day and Rooke was very anxious, but Alric kept warning him not to wake her up. Eventually Rook had sought out his grandmother as she helped repair the damage the attack had caused. She had reassured him that it was normal for Crystal to sleep to recover after using her magic more so when fighting against dark magic.

She had made him realize that even though they were mates and had bonded, they really had not spent much time together. This was the first time that they had spent so much of time together. He had really tried to let her sleep and recover but his heart was uneasy, and he was getting more and more worried the longer she slept. Which had led to the current situation of him softly trying to wake her up.
