Chapter 9
“Alpha!!” The howl echoed through Rook’s mind as the terror and fear of his pack crashed through his mind. It brought him to his knees and Alric howled. Already forcing the change as he sensed danger to their pack.
Finally, he could hear Tomas clearly. “We need you. Rogues have attacked.”
He was already moving towards the caves entrance before Tomas had finished speaking through their mind link. He felt Crystal join him as the urgency, terror and fear from the pack crashed through both their minds.
“Hold still, I have a faster way to get to them,” Crystal ordered.
Alric turned and stared at Crystal, “Think of the packhouse, picture it in your mind.”
As he obeyed her, he watched her begin to glow, shimmering light flowed from her hands to form a circle in the air. The air within the circle shimmered and Alric was staring the pack house exactly where he had pictured in his mind. “Go through now, I’ll follow.”
